Multishot Technologies Leaders Form Partnership to offer Complete In-Mold Solutions Package

Gram Technology, Inc. and MGS Mfg. Group, Inc. have announced a strategic partnership to engineer, design, develop, build and qualify multiple material (multishot) molding systems. The two companies will draw on their extensive experience in multishot manufacturing technologies to provide customers with a complete integrated production system: prototype through multi-cavity production tooling and specialty equipment.

The Gram Technology, Inc. “Spin Stack™” System is recognized worldwide for its ability to mold tight tolerance, high performance multiple material parts at aggressive cycle times. MGS Mfg. Group’s Universal Multishot Systems’ line of specialty manufacturing equipment includes the MGS Rotary Stack System, horizontal and vertically mounted portable injection units, rotary platens, and mold vacuum units. MGS has a complete line of multishot tooling systems.

MGS will be exhibiting at the K-Show, Booth 3D73, Düsseldorf, Germany, October 24 – 31. Jes Gram, President of Gram Technology and John Hahn, MGS Vice President of Engineering, will be available to speak with customers about how the merging technologies of the two companies will provide time to market performance solutions.

Gram and MGS are currently collaborating on their first 4 component in-mold manufacturing system.
